Get an early start with pickup at your hotel in Hurghada, and begin the trip to Luxor in a climate-controlled minivan.

Your guide shares some background on ancient Egyptian history and culture before the first stop of the day in the Valley of the Kings.

Next, head to the Temple of Hatshepsut, a monument to Egypt’s only female pharaoh, and see the Colossi of Memnon.

Then visit an island on the Nile for a traditional Egyptian lunch. Return to ancient Egypt in the massive Karnak Temple, and then cool off with a felucca cruise along the Nile.

The day concludes with return transfer to your hotel in Hurghada.
